Will it Cost Me Anything?
Because we are a not-for-profit charity that is committed to giving children the best possible start, every cent of our funding is directed towards employing teachers that are trained and registered, and towards creating amazing environments and resources in our kindergartens and centres.
In some circumstances we still need to charge a fee, and we also request a small Family Contribution. Here's how it works: |

What this means for you:
If you attest (use) some or all of the 20 hours ECE for your child to a Kindergarten, then those hours are funded by the Ministry of Education at ALL of our kindergartens.
Most of our Kindergartens offer up to 30 hours free if you attest all of your 20 hours ECE to us.
Please inquire at the kindergarten of your choice if this will apply.
Fees
In some circumstances you will be required to pay a fee.
Our fees range from $5.00 to $6.75 per hour.
Fees will apply for all children under 2 years old.
Click here for more fee details.
To assist you to pay Fees, many families will be eligible for the WINZ Childcare Subsidy.
Please look here for further information on the WINZ Childcare Subsidy.
Enquiries
If you have any enquiries regarding Fees, please initially talk to the Administrator at the Kindergarten of your choice, or contact the Association Office.

Family ContributionAll parents are asked for a small Family Contribution (donation) to cover additional costs not covered by the Ministry of Education funding.
Examples of this are travel costs, profile book printing, art supplies, stationery, and extra activities such as physical development sessions. These are all things which directly benefit your child and build on the experiences provided at Kindergarten. It all helps us give your child the best possible start. Parents who do not pay this Family Contribution may be able to contribute in other ways. Parents can claim the Family Contribution as a donation for tax purposes.
