Our Kindergartens are now offering hours that align with school hours Monday to Friday for children aged 2 - 6. Auckland Point Kindergarten accepts children from 6 months old. Spaces are available now.
Healthkids Kindergarten accepts children from 3 months old.
Many of our Kindergartens are also open during the term breaks, please enquire at the kindergarten of your choice.

Nelson Tasman Kindergartens are an enviroschools regional partner. The Enviroschools Programme is a unique sustainability journey that over 950 early childhood education centres and schools in New Zealand are on.

Through exploration and discovery, tamariki and students develop learning and language, care and creativity, relationships and responsibilities suited to their developmental stage. What emerges is a connection with nature and a sense of belonging to the environment and community.
Through these connections with the environment tamariki and students can consider the world we are a part of, and look to how we make decisions to improve the physical and social environment of our places, our community and our world. |
1000 Books Before School was launched at the Motueka Public Library on 21 November 2017. This pilot programme is a collaboration between

![]() Again the Rata Foundation has been very generous with it's donation of $50,000 to Nelson Tasman Kindergartens.This will be used for much needed maintenance and improvements at our Kindergartens including installation of change tables, new shade sails, replacing bark in our playgrounds, new fences and helping with the costs of building a playground at our new Kindergarten in Murchison.We are extremely grateful for their generous contribution.
