When children leave our Kindergarten, their parents have to opportunity to comment about areas they think the Kindergarten performs well in.
Here are some of their recent comments.

"Having activities that are responsive to a child's interests, inclusive of other cultures - greeting children in their family's language, links to the wider community and communication with family. We are really grateful for all the background work you put in to ensure our daughter develops her curiosity and joy for learning"

"Making everyone feel welcome, children and families, peoples feelings, being responsible, sharing, building confidence, caring for others and the environment, having fun, keeping safe, always encouraging children to give things a go. It's a warm and friendly, safe place for my child to learn and grow with confidence, achieving goals and fantastic caring teachers."

"I love how I look around and each of you is so focused and engaged with the children. It's obvious that you don't treat your positions as 'just a job' and it's reflected in the respect and adoration children have for you. Skye has grown in leaps and bounds and I'm so proud of her achievements since she started kindy."

"Eight years ago one person told me that Stoke was an excellent Kindy, and so when it was time to enrol Ruby, it was Stoke that we chose. That was the best decision ever! The last seven years our family has spent here have been nothing but amazing. From day one back in 2008 this place has been like a second home. Thank you all so much for all the fun, singing, dancing, joking, climbing, art, playdough, building, trains, reading, trips to the gym, mihis, trike-a-thons, dress up days, celebrations, gardening and all the wonderful opportunities that you have given Ruby, Lachlan and Gabrielle to experience the best pre-school years they could ever wish for."

"I think that Stoke Kindergarten is fantastic and its Te Reo use and signing shows a real commitment to Aotearoa. I really love how much you engage the children with in exploring the community, bringing visitors in and preparing them with confidence for school."
