Kaiako - Matangi Āwhio

We are seeking a kaiako with proficiency in te reo Māori to join our team at Matangi Āwhio. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver te reo Māori within kindergarten settings, working alongside other kaiako, whānau and tamariki. They are also self-motivated, a team player, take initiative, and have a passion for teaching young tamariki.
Kei te kimi mātou o Matangi Āwhio he Kaiako e pakari ana i te reo Māori. E taea e ia te mahi i te reo Māori i roto i ngā ahuatanga o te whare kōhungahunga, i te taha o ngā hoa mahi me ngā tamariki katoa. He kaiako mahi tahi, koi, ngākau nui hoki mō ngā tamariki.
You will participate in developing and enhancing teaching practices, engage in collaborative planning, and help foster a strong sense of community. The team are passionate about incorporating the languages and cultures of each whānau and strengthening their knowledge and practice of te ao Māori.
